Yasmena
Clever Yasmena...
"Yasmena is the forerunner of the wristlet trend but with a functional twist. Its unique loop give the woman the option of attaching the bag to her finger and allowing it to rest on the back of her hand or carry in the palm."
PRESS RELEASE IN THE NEW YORK TIMES
Emily Blumenthal, Handbag Designer
"The inspiration for the Yasmena bags comes from a young designer Emily Blumenthal. She was always interested in how people dress for social occasions. She feels women are so calculated when they are getting dressed for a big night. Everything has to be perfect before a woman walks out the door. She may spend hours looking in the mirror to have the perfect look and then turn around grab a bag and walk out the door. There has been not thinking how that bags looks with her outfit and is it appropriate the her special occasion. Does it match? Is it the right size? Will her personal effects be safe when she walks to the dance floor? Can she manage her bag and a drink at the same time? Emily started to watch people and develop her first bags. It became clear that Emily designed the perfect bag."
